Milcon purchases Unic mini crawler cranes

Recently Milcon Lift of Sittard The Netherlands add 2 Unic mini crawler cranes to their Rental fleet. Mini crawler cranes are growing more and more populair due to restricted regulations on working conditions. These cranes are very compact and are ideal to work with in narrow spaces. Milcon has chosen the Unic URW-095 and Unic URW-295. In transport position these machines are only 60 cm wide. With fully extended outriggers the machines have a maximum liftingheight of 8,8 meter. Max. capacity in this position of the URW-095 is 995 kg at 3,4 meter, the URW-295 which is equiped with an LMI, has a capacity of 2,9 tons at 4 meter. The machines are equiped with radioremote control, diesel engine, mains electric pack and low marking tracks. These Mini crawler cranes are allowed to operate without operator license.

First Genie GTH-4020R delivered in The Netherlands

Last year Genie Industries introduced 3 rotating telescopic named GTH-4518R, GTH-4020R and GTH-6025R. These are modern machines, meeting the latest requirements of safty and environment. Although the operators comfort and ergonomics are on high level.

This GTH-4020R has acapacity of 4 tonnes and a maximum height of 20 metres.Customer Nico Meester owner of company Time Bouw purchased the machine including a 4,5 m wide, extendable platform, 3 tonnes winch and 900 kg capacity jib. The result is a many sided machine who is usable for many jobs.

Time-Bouw bv is specialized in large-scale renovation. The GTH-4020R will be in operation with renovation of apartmentbuildings in and round Amsterdam.

To meet the demand for bigger mini cranes Unic Cranes Introduced a new type of Mini crane on tracks during last Bauma at Munich.
With the capacity of 6 tons at 3 meters and a hook height of maximum 19.5 meter the URW-706 is now the most powerfull crane in the unic range.

The new machine is also the biggest crane of the mini crane world and yet at 1600mm wide is still narrow enough to gain access through a standard double doorway. For added lifting flexibility, the 706 also features an 3.1 long stowable fly jib together with a searcher hook, providing a maximum hook height of 22,7 meter.

The businessrelationship between Spreeuwenberg Hoogwerksystemen and HDW Nederland, for the supplying of Genie manlifts, remains also after the takeover of Spreeuwenberg by the French Loxam group.

Continued existence of a relationship, is after a takeover by a foreign company always a questionmark. For HDW it was offcourse a important task to convince the people of the French Loxam that a continuing of the cooperation was the only right choice.

Finally this resulted in an order for the Dutch market of 49 pieces of Genie manlifts. Existing out of electrical en dieselscissors, articulated booms and telescopic booms in the range of 7,8 up to 26 meters working height.

Swift and accurate supplying in the Netherlands resulted into another order for the French home market of Loxam. Here HDW may deliver another 7 units telescopic booms and articulated booms with working heights of 22 to 26 meters.

Recently we delivered the first totall re-newed Teupen GT25Rent to the Company Arma Rent in Veenedaal.

Tools and machine rental company Arma in Veenendaal recently received the first totall re-newed Teupen GT25Rent trailermounted manlift, via importer HDW. Trailermounted manlifts with a working hight of 25 meter are already popular for years, particularly with windowcleaners and painters. As with these machines weight has always been a important issue, the horizontal reach normaly remained limited to 12,5 meter. The by Teupen modifyed GT25Rent, which is among others equiped with a load sensing regulation device, sets a complete new criterion with a max. horizontal outreach of 15,50m at 80kg platform capacity.
Furthermore the machine is equiped with an oversized chassis which is standard fitted with a drive and set equipment. Outriggers and driving are operateble via the joystick in the manplatform. Finally the machine has a variable outrigger footprint, which also makes it possible to work in configned spaces (2,8 meter widht) at the maximum working hight.
The machine weight lies with 3.130kg amply under the 3,5 ton, so there is enough space for outrigger pats or drive plankings.
