Teupen recently introduced a new spiderlift: The Teupen leo13GT. With this machine Teupen makes quality and innovation affordable for rental company’s and end-users in the key 12m/13m working height access platform market.
The Leo 13GT offers a maximum outreach of 6.10m at its maximum capacity of 200kg, even at full working height. This is significantly better than rival spiderlifts where split load mechanisms typically restrict outreach at around 120kg in the basket.
Automatic outrigger leveling is standard, capable of leveling on slopes up to 14%. This eliminates interlock problems often experienced by operators unfamiliar with a machine, a problem which accounts for a high proportion of call-outs for hire companies.
A very low centre of gravity provides the stability to drive on uneven and sloping terrain, with up to 26% gradeability and up to 20% cross-slope ability.
With fewer moving parts and parts to wear, the simplified design is more economic and simpler to service and maintain. This will reduce machine running costs and downtime during its lifetime.
